Description
Awe describes the feathered, tufted decoration on a taiaha's collar, a weapon Māori have crafted over the generations. Signifying strength, power and influence, Shot commissioned master carver Whare Thompson to design this striking set, with a finely laser-etched tattoo sleeve that wraps around the dart.
The torpedo shape suits players who grip at the front. A short nose with 0.5mm grooves runs into a double-toothed ring grip machined along the barrel, and a rear taper keeps the balance assured and front-loaded.
Wide smooth rings sit between each band on the tail section for a less aggressive hold back there, while a cinder grip in a tribal design adds superfine traction and control. Now fitted with Shot's threaded Turbo Point system.
