The barrels are crafted from durable brass, which is the traditional starting material for a reason: it's hard-wearing, takes knocks well and gives you a forgiving, chunkier feel that's easy to get on with when you're learning the throw. A tapered nose helps the darts release smoothly, while radial grooves phase into a defined shark grip towards the rear, so you get a positive bite where your fingers naturally sit without the front of the barrel feeling harsh. As a steel tip set, they're ready for a bristle board out of the box.
